Wow, it’s been some time. My real life is getting busy, and it’s intruding on my Squidoo time! Forgive me if all my questions have already been answered in the forums, but I was just wondering….
I know that our most recent payout was based on average monthly lensrank. In my opinion, it’s a great move because it helps eliminate the end-of-month rush/panic for keeping our numbers high. This way, everyday quality becomes a much more important factor, as it should be.
Of course, now it means that it’s a little harder to figure out where the tier breakdowns will be. Many lenses may have the same average lensrank, depending on decimal places, and you might still be in Tier 1 even if you’ve slipped out of <2000. I’m guessing that at the end of the month, all the lenses get ranked by their average rank, and the top 2000 average ranks end up in Tier 1. So, if your lenses are borderline, you won’t really know which way you go.
By the way, I highly recommend downloading the Squidoo Enhanced Add-on for Firefox. For some time now, it has provided your average lensrank for the month right on top of your lensrank graph. This way, you’ll have a general idea of how your lenses stand.
